Available in 3 colours, 14-count DMC Marble Aida gives a marbled background to your work when the stitches do not cover the whole of the design area. One frequent use of the Azure Blue Marble Aida is to provide a 'sky' background to an outdoor subject without having to do any stitching. All colours are made from 100% cotton.

I guess this was just a rumour.

We heard through the grapevine that DMC may be discontinuing marble aida. Certainly, we had the azure blue on order for about two months with nothing arriving and it was not listed on our back order report. However, today, it arrived so it looks as if this was just a false alarm.

When ordering the Hearts design, please note that the hearts run across the width of the fabric. So, for example, if the piece of fabric is to measure 60cm wide by 30cm tall, make sure you specify the 60cm as the first measurement.

When ordering the Stripes design, please note that the stripes run vertically down the fabric. So, for example, if the piece of fabric is to measure 60cm wide by 30cm tall, make sure you specify the 60cm as the first measurement.

If you want the stripes to run ACROSS the fabric, enter the 30cm as the first measurement.
