Terms and Conditions of Sale

All orders are accepted on the assumption that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.

General
Cross Stitch Workshop is a trading name of Information Technology Workshop Ltd.

All orders received by Cross Stitch Workshop are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Sale which supersede any previous versions.

All descriptions, illustrations and sizes are provided in this web site in order to give a general impression of the products shown. In particular, colour representation on web site pages will vary from one monitor or printer to another.

All prices are in pounds sterling and we reserve the right to change any advertised price at any time.

Delivery
We attempt to dispatch all goods on the day the order is received, subject, of course, to the order being received in time for it to be processed before the last mail collection of the day. Note that, where payment is by cheque, dispatch may be delayed to allow for cheque clearance.

UK customers - For orders of £50.00 or more, there is no delivery charge. For orders less than £50.00, there is a £2.00 delivery charge. Delivery is by First Class post.

EEC customers - For orders of £80.00 or more, there is no delivery charge. For orders less than £80.00, there is a £5.00 delivery charge. Delivery is by Air Mail.

All other customers should call for shipping costs per order.

Note that what we term as "delivery charges" covers all costs associated with processing your order. This includes the cost of delivery, packaging and banking costs incurred in processing your payment.

Delivery times are given in working days (Monday - Friday) and are our estimate of the average time from an order being received to it being delivered to the customer. Note than events outside of our contol may delay delivery.

The slogan "Order Today - Stitch Tomorrow" applies to orders received before 4.00pm, Monday - Friday. If possible, orders received after 4.00pm will also be dispatched that day but they will generally be dispatched the following day. Orders received by 11.00am on Saturday will be dispatched that day, otherwise they will be dispatched the following Monday. This slogan does not apply to orders from customers overseas.

All products and services are offered subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If an order cannot be fulfilled, an alternative may be offered or a full refund given.

Claims
Cross Stitch Workshop should be notified if goods have not been received within 7 days of the dispatch date (14 days for non-UK customers). Any claim for shortages or damage to goods must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. No claim can be entertained after this period.

Returns
Cross Stitch Workshop should be notified of faulty goods within 48 hours of delivery. Faulty goods should then be returned to Cross Stitch Workshop.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact Cross Stitch Workshop within 48 hours of delivery to arrange return of the goods and receive a full refund less postage costs.

Any goods returned incomplete, or which have been used, will not be replaced or credited.

Payment
Payment can be by Credit or Debit Card, UK cheque or by bank transfer.

Customers chosing to pay by card should ensure their telephone number is correctly entered and then select the 'Telephone' option from the menu. We shall then telephone you to get the card details.

UK Cheques are also acceptable by post but are subject to clearance before goods can be dispatched.

BACS or Internet Banking transfer is acceptable by arrangement.

When an order has to be dispatched in two or more parts, full payment will be required before dispatch of the first part of the order, the balance of the order being dispatched as soon as possible thereafter.

If this is not acceptable, the order may be split into two or more separate orders, each part being charged accordingly.

Title
Risk of the goods passes to the purchaser on delivery but the title of the goods remains with Cross Stitch Workshop until full payment is received.
